            The journey of Isra and Mi'raj is one of the most significant and spiritual moments in the history of Islam, which played a key role in establishing the spiritual and practical foundations of Islam. This journey was not merely a physical one; it carried deep spiritual meanings and lessons for humanity, particularly regarding faith, patience, ethical conduct, and cooperation.

Isra and Mi'raj are two significant and spiritual journeys that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) undertook, as decreed by Allah.

The journey is divided into two parts:

Isra: The first part of the journey, where Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was taken from Mecca to Masjid al-Aqsa (in Jerusalem) during the night on a special animal called Buraq. There, he prayed with other prophets, signifying his connection to the line of previous messengers. Isra is important because it elevated Prophet Muhammad (SAW) spiritually and symbolized his journey towards even higher realms of faith and understanding.

Mi'raj: The second part, which involves the ascension to the heavens. From Masjid al-Aqsa, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was taken through the seven heavens, meeting various prophets along the way, and eventually reached Sidratul-Muntaha, the furthest point in the heavens. Here, he had a direct encounter with Allah. It was at this point that the five daily prayers were made obligatory for Muslims, a key element in Islamic practice.

Let us now begin the journey of Mi'raj:

     On the night of Isra and Mi'raj, when the world was in stillness and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was resting, Hazrat Jibril (AS) came in a flash of light, signaling that the time had come for a great spiritual meeting. This journey was not just to meet Allah but also a means to elevate the spiritual rank of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). The journey began with Hazrat Jibril (AS) taking Prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the Buraq, a heavenly steed, from Mecca to Masjid al-Aqsa. There, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) prayed with the previous Prophets, which was a testament to the continuity of Allah’s message.

Divine Ascent:

       After the prayer, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) ascended through the heavens on his journey of Mi'raj. During this journey, he met Prophets like Hazrat Adam (AS), Isa (AS), and Musa (AS), who greeted him and affirmed the truth of his message. The final destination of this journey was Sidratul-Muntaha, the farthest point in the heavens, beyond which no creation could pass. Hazrat Jibril (AS) stopped at his limit and said, If I move forward, my wings will burn. so Prophet Muhammad (SAW) proceeded alone to meet Allah. This highlighted his unique position.

The Spiritual Message:

        The journey of Mi'raj was not just a physical journey; it conveyed a spiritual message showing how through patience, prayer, and supplication, one can reach their spiritual goals. This journey emphasized the importance of the five daily prayers, which serve as a means for every Muslim to strengthen their relationship with Allah.

       I hope that everyone feels the significance of these moments and learns from the example set by Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
